Important moments regarding the arrival of Russian investors in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is in an economic crisis at this time, By further expanding the business activities of
Tulip Consulting (pvt) ltd with Russia, in order to provide the contribution of our Company for the
country, with the intervention of the Tulip Consulting (pvt) ltd CEO/Founder Mr. Dilan
wijewardana, and the business community consisting of a Russian investment group of ten
people and two investors from Thailand, started new businesses in Sri Lanka. Was sent to Sri
Lanka on November 23, 2022 to study the opportunities for start new business in sri lanka,,
mainly the Minister of Tourism and Lands Hon. Harin Fernando gave his contribution for this
regard.and also under the guidance of His Excellency President. Ranil Wickramasinghe and
Prime Minister Hon. Dinesh Gunawardena, Russian Investment Group decided to start its future
business activities in Sri Lanka. Accordingly, Minister of Education Hon.Susil Premajayantha,
Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment Hon.Manusha Nanayakkara as well as Presidential
Adviser Professor Ashu Marasingha contributed to this Program. Accordingly, sending Sri
Lankan trained workers for employment opportunities in Russia, establishing institutes in Sri
Lanka for learning Russian language, making necessary arrangements to start a hotel project
and business necessary to bring more Russian business as well as tourists to Sri Lanka.
According to the agreement between tulip Consulting (pvt) ltd and the Returning Russian
Delegation , were appointed to carry out the rest of the business activities Two new
organizations were registered M & I Elizabeth(pvt)ltd and Tulip Travel and Tourism (Pvt) ltd. The
Russian business Delegation has been directly involved with the respective companies., and all
these activities will be coordinated by Kandy District Member of Parliament Hon. Udyana
Kirindigoda. Hence, our Company would like to thanks the Ministers including His Excellency
the President and the Prime Minister, the Hon. Harin Fernando, Minister. Manusha
Nanayakkara, Minister Hon.Susil premajayantha the Presidential Adviser, Prof.Ashu
Marasingha, and Secretaries of concerned ministries who provide the necessary support for the
success of the projects and will receive the same projects. And Also, we would like to express
our thanks again to all the members of the group of Russian Delegation, Aksenova Irina,
Aksenova Uliana, Trubina Iuliia, Strashnova Natalia, Smolkin Vladimir, Davydenko Pavel,
Davydenko Kristina, Davydenko Vitalii, Davydenko Eli zaveta and Thailand members of the
